Cultivating Mind, Body, & Soul

Welcome to Yoga in the Garden, where we believe the path to peace begins from within. Just like a garden, each of us holds seeds of potential—love, joy, curiosity, resilience. Through yoga, mindfulness, and intentional practice, we learn to tend to those seeds and choose what we grow. At Yoga in the Garden, we offer heart-centered classes and courses for children, families, educators, and seekers of all ages who want to cultivate balance, presence, and purpose.

Here, yoga isn’t just movement—it’s a practice of living. A way to breathe deeper, love bigger, and shine brighter. Whether you’re stretching under the sun or learning to sit with a feeling, you’re invited to explore your inner landscape and become the best version of yourself.

About Daniel

Educator, Yogi, He(Art)ist, & Seed Planter

Hi, I’m Daniel.

I’m a teacher, a yogi, a father, a storyteller, and a heart-led human who believes that our life is a gift and our purpose is to share our love with the world.

I’ve spent over two decades working with children and families in public schools, private schools, and specialized settings—teaching students ages 4–20, including those with developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. I’ve also spent 10 years as a social-emotional special education teacher, leading small groups, full classes, and school-wide programs rooted in connection and compassion.

My yoga journey began over a decade ago, and today I’m a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher (Breathe for Change), SELf-certified in Social Emotional Learning, and creator of Yoga in the Garden—a dream turned mission. I’ve taught over 100+ hours of yoga classes, both online and in-person, and have developed professional development trainings for educators and parents to help build emotional literacy and connection.

But deeper than any title, I’m here to share my heart. Through my He(Art)work, yoga, and stories, I hope to spread the message that we are all divine beings, planted with purpose, and called to grow into the love we truly are.
